GitLab Commit Virtual 2021 has ended
Sessions will be available during their listed time, and then on demand on the platform after the event closes.

The Sched app allows you to build your schedule but is not a substitute for your event registration. You must be registered for GitLab Commit: Virtual 2021 to participate in the sessions. If you have not registered but would like to join us, please register and attend here.  Space in sessions is unlimited so advance sign-up is not necessary, it is just a convenience offered to guests.

To save a schedule you need to be logged in Sched, but this is not tied to your event registration. You do not need to be logged in to view the schedule.

Reminder: Sched is not the event platform, it is the schedule

Please note: This schedule is automatically displayed in Pacific Time (PT). To see the schedule in your preferred timezone, please select from the drop-down menu to the right, above “Filter by Date.”

At a large enterprise like Delta, multiple teams may be facing the same issues simultaneously. Teams working in silos to solve these issues is inefficient. Innersource at Delta brings teams together to solve these shared issues. In addition to inner source, we use mob programming, similar to pair programming, with a single driver and multiple navigators to solve these problems.

In this talk, we will highlight how mob programming, innersource, and GitLab help our teams be more efficient and solve shared problems together. We will highlight an innersourced project to develop a DevSecOps framework and monitoring. While working on this project remotely due to the pandemic, we used GitLab’s Issues, Epics, Web IDE, Pages and CI to bring contributors from various teams across Delta together, run regular remote mobbing sessions, and deliver effective software.
